Get involved

Help more mothers find care close to home.

Bloom grew out of years of awareness work, and it still runs on people who care. Whether you have an hour a month or you want to make this part of your studies, there is a place for you.

Why it matters

Awareness only works when there is somewhere to send her.

Bloom began in 2017 as an awareness effort: campaigns, legislative work, and training for peer support facilitators. Along the way we learned that awareness alone isn’t enough. A mother who finally asks for help needs somewhere to go.

That is why Bloom now helps practices and hospitals build that somewhere. Every person who tells a practice, a hospital, or a classmate that a better way exists brings it closer.

Ways to help

Three ways to be part of Bloom.

In your spare time

Bloom Ambassador

Share what Bloom does with the people around you. No experience, quota, or schedule required.

  • A ready-made kit: talking points, printable pages, and social graphics
  • Introduce us to practices, hospitals, and programs you know
  • Share Bloom’s posts and news when you can
  • A short welcome call with Shannon to get started
For psychology, nursing, social work, and public health students

Students

Bloom can be a real-world project for your studies.

  • Bloom doesn’t award credit, but many programs give credit for internships, practicums, or independent study
  • Ask your advisor what your program accepts
  • We’ll provide what your school asks for: a supervisor, learning goals, and an hours log
For practices, hospitals, and community groups

Build care where you are

If your organization wants to screen, respond, or open a dedicated program, start with the Program Build.

  • A free 30-minute call to find the right fit
  • Four builds, from one practice to a hospital wing
What to expect

You share. We take it from there.

Ambassadors share information. They don’t give medical advice, counsel anyone, or speak for Bloom on pricing or contracts. When someone wants to know more, you connect them with Shannon and the team handles the rest.

Many of our ambassadors have a personal connection to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Your story is welcome, and how much of it you share is always up to you.
